7:36pm
Woke up, walk, ate, walk, walk, walk, Pol Roger cellars, walk, walk, ate, walk, sleep.
I woke up way too early - 7am. But I fell back asleep for another half hour or so. Then I woke up and went walking for a bit. Epernay is really, really beautiful. It's such a cute town with cobblestone roads and old buildings. Oh, and I went into I guess this meatery. LOL, it's like a butcher but no. It's like sausages, tongue, pigeon, pheasant, liver, prepared meals, and all that. It was meat haven. AHH and they had the most gorgeous slabs of ham lol. Anyways, we got some ham and sausages and some baguettes and that was our lunch!
At 2 we went to Pol Roger and I went down into the cellars yet again, like last year. There were like tons of bottles fermenting and whatnot. And I learned the whole process of making champagne...again. It's actually quite interesting and we got to see the machines that labeled and corked the bottles and watch them at work, all so interesting.
That's pretty much my day since we stayed there til like 6 drinking champagne and whatnot. Oh, and we met these Swedish girls who went on the tour as well. Pol Roger doesn't do tours but somehow we got one and yeah. The Swedish girls were saaa nice ok.
More tomorrow, bye you monkeys.
