I felt the need to update my blog since I never do nowadays. But I guess I should have some crap to talk about.
- The Geography of Bliss by Eric Weiner (pronounced 'whiner' hehehehe) - this book is a really good book; I bet you're thinking 'How vague...' Um no, there's no other way to sum it all up. His use of words was just phenomenal. They all blended really well and the flow of reading was just so easy. Except for the Moldova chapter. That killed me. But other than that, it was a good read and I really appreciate my teachers for assigning this book to read. One of the best reads.
- The Help by Kathryn Stockett - I admit I was reluctant as to read this book in the first place. It had 500+ pages. Not sure about the actual book because I bought the book off iTunes and it had the default font + size set so yeah but with that, it was 500+ pages. I had another book ready to go to read if I decided not to read this one. That book was 'Into Thin Air', I'll talk about it later. (Woah look at me being all powerful.) But once I started reading this book I couldn't put it down. Until I had to go to bed. So like 109 pages into it I had to go to bed. Okay irrelevant but it's such a good book. It's written in different point of views, they put the name of who's point of view it's written in at the top of every chapter the point of view changes. If that made sense, I think I made a grammatical mistake, whatever. This book puts everything into perspective. You don't just feel for the african americans, even though you should pity them loads, I'm not even kidding. There's a character in this book, READ IT I'M NOT TELLING WHO (power), who tries to change things and she's having her own problems with her life and having to deal with so much pressure from the people in her life. Similar to the African Americans. Ahh it's just a magical book. Pick it up.
- Thredbo - This skiing trip has taught me so much. I don't know, it just has. Like, I went on blue slopes, which is the level of difficulty of slopes that comes right before black diamond slopes, which is the toughest. So I'm quite proud. My coach says that my biggest problem though is fear. So I've got to get over that.
- Tumblr - I've changed my tumblr URL because I felt that my URL didn't really fit what I was reblogging lol. So now it's limonaid. Oh, and if you do visit, go to my 'mine' page and reblog both pictures por favor. Even though nobody reads this blog HAHA. Except for this girl Andrea though she's the cutest thing haha.
- Visit - I went to visit my old school the other day and I can say that it was a pretty good visit. I saw the people I missed the most - Lyn, Imran, Sara & Alyssa. That meant the most. And my fifth grade teacher remembered me and she saw me and was like '*open mouthed* what are you doing here...' and I didn't even talk to her before that like when I walked into the teacher's room so that was cool HAHA. But yeah wasn't the best though but I did meet Lyn, Imran, Sara & Alyssa so that was the best. And Chean Yee and Jil. And I saw little Nadia. And Jil was going on about how I have an accent and how she felt lame with me around. Um, why though. IDK but I miss them so much.
That's all I can think about....actually idk. Whatever.
