Project Yay

I went over to Krystal's house on Friday to have our long awaited sleepover! It was super duper fun. I got there at about 3 and we just chilled. Literally. We had out laptops out and started looking at pictures of people having a life and complaining about ours. Always fun with my twin. We were on tumblr and twitter and such complaining about how hot people are and how we're such potatoes. Yet again, always fun with my other half. We basically talked about irrelevant stuff, watched videos and then came the time for the live Olympic events. We first watched the semi-finals of the men's singles badminton and then we went on to watching the women's 75kg weightlifting finals. So proud of Chong Wei ahh. And Kazakhstan placed first in the weightlifting, Russia second and...someone else third I forgot. But the only reason the Kazakh woman placed first is because she's a mere 300 grams lighter than the Russian but ah so happy for her. She did exceedingly well.

Krystal's dad is super fun to watch sports with though...seriously HAHA. Then we went into Krystal's room right after the matches finished. We skyped with Michael and Imran. I skyped Imran on my laptop and Krystal was skyping Michael on her laptop. Then we cross skyped lol. We placed each other's laptop in front of...each other's (?) and Imran and Michael talked to each other it was pretty cool. Then we watched half of the Help because it was 2am by then. It's such a good movie.

We woke up at like 9-ish and continued watching the Help. Krystal's mom wanted to bring us out for breakfast and I didn't know so I ended up going out in my pj's...actually, they were my lululemon shorts + my touch shirt. So that's all good actually. Then we came back, attempted to tan (LOL IT WAS SUCH A FAIL THERE WAS NO SUN) and then we went out for lunch. By the time we arrived back at Krystal's crib it was time to leave for Michael's kingdom.

We reached Michael's house like twenty minutes later than planned...sigh but his house is frickin amazing like words cannot describe it ahh. Krystal and I were fangirling in the car haha. We basically watched Imran, Adam and Michael play FIFA and table tennis. Then we decided to watch a movie, Project X. It was interesting... Also, my post title sorta is inspired by this movie title hehe. Then we went up to Michael's room to talk about...stuff. T'was fun. So fun actually HAHA. Then Imran had to leave, sad face. After he left...we went up to Michael's room to talk again and we watched a little of 21 Jump Street. Then we had to go have dinner. Michael's mom made the best fish & chips ever. And she also made this chocolate fondue thing. YUMSIES. But I didn't really have much of the chocolate. I had two grapes. They were good though yay.

Then we watched Shark Night. THAT MOVIE CRAY. Adam had to leave in the middle of the movie though. SAAAD FACE. There was this stupid point in the movie that left me, Krystal and Michael shaking and laughing because we screamed so loud and then ended up laughing at ourselves. T'WAS FUNNY. After the movie, we went up to continue with 21 Jump Street but we didn't get to finish because I had to leave sigh. It was such a good day.

Now, I'm watching the badminton finals between Lin Dan and CHONG WEI!!!!!! MALAYSIA BOLEH!

Thursday

So this is a post about yesterday because I have time now and I can't think of anything better to do. I woke up at about 10 because I had singing lessons to replace today. I can't go today because I'll be heading to Krystal's house for a long overdue sleepover! Anyways, I had singing, which was kinda agonizing because my range doesn't go about middle E? I don't even know if that makes sense but basically I'm an alto. And it sucks because I stupidly chose the song 'Long Distance' by Bruno Mars to learn and it has some high, high, high notes that I have to hit. My teacher suggested that I use my head voice to hit them but I'm like one of the 3% of people that can't achieve the head voice for some stupid reason. I guess it's because I'm so used to utilizing my 'falsetto' voice. Apparently, I just need support from my throat and I'd achieve head voice. But I can't do that. My life is great.

After singing class, my mom and uncle picked me up and we went Pavilion for lunch and a little shopping. We had lunch at this place called ...I don't know but it's like by Du Viet or something. It was pretty good actually. I had this stew thing with rice. Didn't finish it though hehe. Then we went over to Daiso in the Tokyo Street section of the mall. We spent like thirty minutes there because mother was going crazy buying all these organization things which were actually very, very useful so I didn't mind. I bought dividers for my binder and like pocket things to hold my homework YAY.

After that I got some Ochado (I know right, how much more unhealthy and fat can I get..) Then we went over to...Stadium I think and my mom got new running shoes which look uber cool. My uncle got some Vans for him and for his son. And I got one of those Nike squirt water bottles. I've always wanted one and now I've got one AHHH. That's pretty much it I think. YEAH.

Then on the way home we went to the market to get our dinner, which was delicious. When I got home, I went to the gym to go on the bike. I did just a little over 12km this time. YAY. Then my mom taught me how to use the equipment thing for sit-ups, which resulted in my doing four just to show her. She says 'I CAN DO THIRTY' and I'm like 'Okay, so can I but right now you wanna go home, don't you?' and she goes 'Yah.' So it was settled.

Dinner was good. So lazy to type out what we had. Then we watched the Olympics for a while then I went off to bed YAY. This was a long and boring post about my day which doesn't concern you at all so you basically wasted about 3 minutes of your life. Good on you, son.

10 Sports I Love in the Olympics

  1. Beach volleyball
  2. Volleyball
  3. Synchronized diving
  4. Swimming
  5. Athletics (Javelin or foot races)
  6. Archery
  7. Artistic Gymnastics
  8. Water polo
  9. Triathlon
  10. Trampoline
I don't know how they score diving though it's so complicated. I love watching volleyball and beach volleyball though. It's so intense...hopefully I get into the Varsity team this year. If not, JV would do. For a first year of volleyball that would be good. Trampoline...I didn't know it was a sport until I saw the sports page on the iPad/iPhone app. PRETTY COOL.

Today

So I have the urge to blog now because Kamilia's doing it and holy she types like a idek. OKAY.

I woke up at 11:11 exactly. I remember it because it's 11:11 and that's cool yeah. And then I had a plan to be productive. I had to go to the gym, get my facial done, do sit-ups, do segmental rotations, read and wash my hair. Which I did woohoo. I didn't do my sit ups and segmental rotations yet though. I WILL. I need to get so fit, I've lost all muscle that I've built during touch. I think. I went skiing but I don't think that does anything. Does it? Oh well I'm fat. I NEED TO GET FIT SOMEONE HELP ME HOLD ME ALL MY EMOTIONS. Okay done.

ANYWAYS, I woke up, had breakfast and went to the gym. I had no time to go on the treadmill. :( Sad me. So I did 10km on the bike. That was as much as I could do because I had to go home, wash my hair, and go to my facial appointment. I felt pretty good I guess after my gym session. I had to like..play this flag quiz game to make the time pass because I had nothing to stare at. My facial basically pulled my facial skin off. Ouch. (I just realized how boring my blog is compared to Krystal's or Kamilia's....FKLASJDKSLAJDA I HATE YOU BOTH) Then I came home and did nothing. I read a bit of 'The Help'. It's such a good book I don't even know.

Now I'm skyping with Krystal and Kamilia. And I'm going to skype with Aiman soon yay. Skyping with Krystal and Kamilia is like a breath of fresh air. Assuring me that I have a life. LOL. Nicole was here before but she left, I cry. But it's always fun skyping with them. The conversation ends up with us sending each other links that either make us moan or cry because we're sadistic failures ok. And it's always fun skyping with Aiman because we watch all these YouTube videos together at the same time with like a countdown as to when we start so it ends up at the same time. If you get my flow. Like, we wanna watch the same moment at the same time so I count down to when we press play. And yeah it's pretty fun.

THIS WAS A BORING POST.

mmmm Marcel Nguyen.

Birthday

OH AND IT'S JOEY'S BIRTHDAY IN LIKE TWO DAYS or one day, it's 12...OKAY IT'S HIS BIRTHDAY TOMORROW WOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

July babies yeeeee. Anyways yay it's going to be his birthday. Ok I love this dude so much ok bye.

Such an informal post though.

.

I need to vent so much but I just don't know where. I'm not gonna vent here. Too public but idk.

I felt the need to update my blog since I never do nowadays. But I guess I should have some crap to talk about.

  1. The Geography of Bliss by Eric Weiner (pronounced 'whiner' hehehehe) - this book is a really good book; I bet you're thinking 'How vague...' Um no, there's no other way to sum it all up. His use of words was just phenomenal. They all blended really well and the flow of reading was just so easy. Except for the Moldova chapter. That killed me. But other than that, it was a good read and I really appreciate my teachers for assigning this book to read. One of the best reads.
  2. The Help by Kathryn Stockett - I admit I was reluctant as to read this book in the first place. It had 500+ pages. Not sure about the actual book because I bought the book off iTunes and it had the default font + size set so yeah but with that, it was 500+ pages. I had another book ready to go to read if I decided not to read this one. That book was 'Into Thin Air', I'll talk about it later. (Woah look at me being all powerful.) But once I started reading this book I couldn't put it down. Until I had to go to bed. So like 109 pages into it I had to go to bed. Okay irrelevant but it's such a good book. It's written in different point of views, they put the name of who's point of view it's written in at the top of every chapter the point of view changes. If that made sense, I think I made a grammatical mistake, whatever. This book puts everything into perspective. You don't just feel for the african americans, even though you should pity them loads, I'm not even kidding. There's a character in this book, READ IT I'M NOT TELLING WHO (power), who tries to change things and she's having her own problems with her life and having to deal with so much pressure from the people in her life. Similar to the African Americans. Ahh it's just a magical book. Pick it up.
  3. Thredbo - This skiing trip has taught me so much. I don't know, it just has. Like, I went on blue slopes, which is the level of difficulty of slopes that comes right before black diamond slopes, which is the toughest. So I'm quite proud. My coach says that my biggest problem though is fear. So I've got to get over that.
  4. Tumblr - I've changed my tumblr URL because I felt that my URL didn't really fit what I was reblogging lol. So now it's limonaid. Oh, and if you do visit, go to my 'mine' page and reblog both pictures por favor. Even though nobody reads this blog HAHA. Except for this girl Andrea though she's the cutest thing haha.
  5. Visit - I went to visit my old school the other day and I can say that it was a pretty good visit. I saw the people I missed the most - Lyn, Imran, Sara & Alyssa. That meant the most. And my fifth grade teacher remembered me and she saw me and was like '*open mouthed* what are you doing here...' and I didn't even talk to her before that like when I walked into the teacher's room so that was cool HAHA. But yeah wasn't the best though but I did meet Lyn, Imran, Sara & Alyssa so that was the best. And Chean Yee and Jil. And I saw little Nadia. And Jil was going on about how I have an accent and how she felt lame with me around. Um, why though. IDK but I miss them so much.
That's all I can think about....actually idk. Whatever.
