Liverpool FC
They played Everton last week in the Merseyside Derby AND THEY WON. 3-0. All by Captain Fantastic, a.k.a. Steven Gerrard mostly assisted by Luis Suarez! I didn't watch the game..I'm sad but it was beyond amazing waking up to the news that the red boys have won! And I was beyond euphoric when I found out that Stevie scored all three goals, hence achieving a hat-trick! I just couldn't put my happiness into words and I couldn't express it to anybody for a number of reasons. 1. Nobody in my house watches football except for me and my cousin who abysmally supports.....the red devils. 2. Nobody that I talk to in my grade supports Liverpool LOL. 3. Even if I could, I didn't know how to put my feelings into words, I was too ecstatic. I just didn't know how to explain how happy I was that Stevie scored all three goals. I mean yeah, it would've been amazing if any other players scored because, face it, it's Everton, it's the Merseyside Derby. But for Stevie, it must've been one of the best days ever for him because 1. he scored a bloody hat-trick, 2. it was against Everton, LFC's longtime rivals and 3. he's getting old, close to retiring in fact and he's been playing at LFC his whole football career. His youth club was LFC, and look, he's close to retirement and he's still at LFC. He hasn't even retired from the game yet and many already call him a legend. His idol is Ian Rush (I met him, yes, I still can't believe it) and people already COMPARE him to Rush. Imagine you being compared to your idol in a positive way without even retiring from what you do yet. And then they played Stoke just this weekend and Suarez netted an early goal, followed by a goal by Crouch from Stoke (which brought the game to a 1-1 draw at HT) and in the second half, STEWIE SCORED! Yay!
Fernando Torres
Somebody turned 28 today! NANDO NANDO NANDO NANDO NANDO! Ahh, my El Niño is 28! LOL, I sound like a grandmother. Anyways, it's Nando's birthday today (Yes, I'm a little late but oh well!) and ahhhh! YAY! Happy Birthday Nando! Even though he plays for Chelsea now...I still have this soft spot for him. IDK. I was absolutely gutted when Roy Stupid Hodgson sold him for 50 million pounds, which isn't even close to what he was worth when he was in Liverpool, to Chelsea back in 2011. Nando was in top form during that season in Liverpool and it was all downhill from when he moved to Chelsea. Oh well, I know he still has those skills up his sleeve (he just netted two goals for Chelsea last week, yay for Nando!) and he's just being....underestimated there I guess. Thank God, Villas-Boas was sacked LOL. ANYWAYS, HAPPY BIRTHDAY NANDO! I love you so much.
New York City
I'm leaving to New York City next Tuesday (27th) and I arrive back here on the 9th, which is the day school starts. I arrive back here at about 7:30am and me being the Asian that I am, I plan to go to school at around lunch time. I hate missing school. I'm already missing the last day of school before spring break...sigh. And even worse, I'm missing Grant's visit to Malaysia. Epic facepalm. I'm actually really sad about this. But New York will be....an experience. I've never been to New York before so I actually can't wait. While I'm there, I'm going to visit the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building, Ground Zero, Wall Street, the Natural History Museum, the MET, Niagara Falls, 5th Av., Central Park, Rockefeller Center, Times Square aaaaaaand COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY. It's one of my top choices so I'm shitting my pants because I'm actually going to have a tour of the place. And I'm staying in this service suite thing so yay. Going to be taking loads of pictures and hopefully I can sneak in a little internet time back at the suite so I can tweet and blog. I'm actually going to make a list of things that I want to buy and do. It'll contain mostly things that I need to fill my closet up with, organize my desk with and decorate my room and laptop cover with! I'll also be on the hunt for...River Viiperi HAHAHAHHA. And other celebrities but I'll probs drop my balls before even approaching them for a picture....if I even dare to ask them. Is it even allowed? OH WELL. WE'LL JUST HAVE TO WAIT AND SEE.
I actually want to write more....but I'm going to bed.
